Our latest adventure game, A Short Tale, is now available across iOS, Google Play, Amazon, Mac, and PC!
We’d love it if you picked it up, it’s pretty good 🙂 Naturally we’re sightly bias towards that statement however we really do believe it’s got some of our best – and most devious – puzzles in it, plus a wise cracking robot and who doesn’t love those?

Another great game by Glitch! This was a tough one though. The puzzle were not obvious at all which made solving them that much more fun!
Can’t wait for Solus!!

Hi, I’ve played every adventure game of yours since FL1. You guys are totally awesome!
One small issue with this new game though. I’ve been engaged in this puzzle involving the six books numbered in Roman numerals, and somehow the books got overlapped with each other. I had a real hard time trying to separate them. And I found that when I continually tapped on a single book, it actually went downwards and finally sank completely beneath the lower edge of my screen. Is this supposed to be a bug, or it is purposefully designed that way?

Hi Edward,
Really sorry about this! This sounds like a strange bug that never came up during testing.
Are you able to go to Options -> Save Game then select your save file and hit Export in the top right and follow the instructions there?
I should then be able to have a look at the issue and see if I can get it fixed for you. Thanks!

Hi, I am encountering a potential bug when playing your new game. I was solving the puzzle of the six books with Roman numerals, and the books got overlapped with each other. I had a real hard time separating them. And when I tapped on one book, the book actually went downwards a little bit. It would eventually sank all the way beneath the screen if I kept tapping. Is this a bug or purposefully designed that way?

I’m absolutely loving this game. Lovely graphics, ingenious puzzles, great sense of humour, and the music is just righ. As with all your titles, the puzzles are tough but fair and you have the knack of making the player (well me at least) feel inordinately pleased at finally cracking the twisted logic behind some of the more devious problems. Relieved to hear further games on the way from Glitch, because nobody else’s titles compare. Just wish you could make ’em faster, because I hate those long, Glitch-less months between releases. Your hard work and quirky cleverness much appreciated.

Really happy to hear that you like this, and our other, games so much and that we did so many things right 🙂 Very happy with that!
Haha yea we wish we could bring them out quicker but with just the two of us, and both of us not wanting to rush them but rather make sure they are as good as they can be, it sadly takes time.
We’re really looking forward to Solus, we’re really excited about it! 🙂

hi! I love all your games! I started playing A short tale but the forth time I wanted to open it it didn’t run. The screen turns black and there’s an error pop-up wich says: “Corona runtime error. bad argument #1 to ‘pairs’ (table expected, got nil). What can I do? Thanks! Regards from Spain!

Hi,
Have installed on two different iPads (so two purchases!), one an older 32-bit one and the other a 64-bit iPad Air 2. No sound on either machine (sound works fine for all other apps). Have turned music and sound effects both up to the maximum. Have deleted and reinstalled. Running the latest update – with the thread fix.
Any ideas?

We’re looking into this. Usually with sound issues, and other issues like this, the best thing to do is fully power down the device and switch it back on again.

Hi Dorothy,
We’re still not sure what the issue is. You may be best Exporting your save file, and then reinstalling the game, and Importing the save file back in.

Does Short Tale require access to mic for TV remote or is it a puzzle for you to know and me to find out? F it requires access it doesn’t show up on my permission requests. Love your stuff!
Graham
Mar 15, 2016 -
It doesn’t require the actual device’s mic but rather a mic in the game.

Nothing but a Black Screen!
Hi just bought your game and after the Glitch Games logo opening there is nothing but a black screen.
Thought maybe i need to find a lightswitch but nope.
Anyone else experiencing this? Any help?
I’m stuck in bed with a broken ankle by the way, in case that motivates someone at tech support to take pity on me.

Graham
Jul 21, 2016 -
Hi Chris, sorry about that! This may seem like a silly request but can you make sure the hardware mute button isn’t on?
If not then could you try messing with the in game volume controls to see if that helps.

Hi there – love your games. Loved Forever Lost; looking forward to more. But… just bought Short Tale and an experiencing a strange glitch with the encyclopedias. They overlap each other and shift down below the screen. Can’t see to get the game to reset (short of hitting THE reset option, of course). Playing on IOS ipad 2. Any ideas on a fix?

I am unable to turn the TV on. I think I found the correct way to do this, but my sokution isn’t working. Please, I don’t want to spoil the game for anyone else or myself, but I am looking for verification of whether I am on the right track (and possibly having a problem with the app) or I am trying the wrong method. I have got the Crane Remote Voice Control set so that it shows “I’m Listening” and I am using something that has 3 modes to help produce commands. I found the commands list in a place well above floor level. Am I on the right track?

Update on comment sent earlier same day:
I had expressed concern that I was unable to turn ov the TV, even though I felt I had found the necessary clues and was trying the right method. I was asking for verification. I was doing everything right except forcoverlooking using one button (not the one on the Crane Voice Control) as part of my input. I love that kind of detail, even though it stumped me.
I am really enjoying the game. Although I had to resort to Appunwrapper for help, my only complaint is that getting to the triangle game piece (I think it was that one) was way too hard. I had tried to explore that spot and concluded it was not accessible. Even after consulting Appunwrapper, and finding that my last piece for the shapes puzzle was located there, I found it very difficult to reach that spot. Contrastingly, I found it merely frustrating to explore beyond the 8 ball.

Really glad you solved the puzzle!
Yea some parts of it can be very hard, we’re still trying to find a nice balance when working on these puzzles. It’s tricky to get it just right.

Hi there,
I really enjoy all your games and have only just got around to playing A Short Story ( with a bit of help from Appunwrapper ). But I need your help. I plugged the USB lead into the vacuum cleaner instead of the fan and I can’t figure out what to do as it won’t come out. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

Hey Jamie, you’ll need to find some way of tempting the vacuum out. Maybe make something messy?

Hi there,
I’m at the VERY end and have solved all of the puzzles but keep getting the eight ball telling me he can’t help because of the train (even though the train says it will help). I’ve gone back and forth and “retapped” it thinking that might help but… nope. Any suggestions?
I love, LOVE, L-O-V-E all of your games! Did I see something about one called Solus? Have I missed it somehow?? Off to the App Store to see if I can find it! 🙂
Thanks!
Graham

Hi Pamela, sorry for the delay, only just saw this comment! Did you get any further?
Our next game is Veritas. Solus, or whatever it will end up being called, will still come in the future but not yet sadly.

Hello,
I’ve done all the puzzles and have all the toys on board, including the train (tracks are complete), EXCEPT for the 8 ball. It keeps telling me that it has lost its train of thought. I tried rebooting the game but it still says that. I even went through the walkthroughs to see if I missed something and I haven’t. I think it is glitching.
I’m using an iPad 5th gen.
Thank you!

Hi there,
Though I love your game, it’s impossible to continue, since the needle I found at the noticeboard, has disappeared from my inventory. I have collected the 2 plastic buttons and the thread, but I cannot proceed in sewing the buttons!
Please help!!
