Thursday Question Time – What do you think of our new website?

Welcome to Thursday Question Time – our weekly chance to get some feedback from you whilst also getting to know you all a little bit better.

It’s been quite a while since we did a TQT and we’re going to try to keep them up this year as they were a lot of fun. Fingers crossed we’ll manage weekly but it might end up being fortnightly.

For today’s question we would like to know, what do you think of our mini-site for Veritas? – www.veritasthegame.com

The purpose of the site is to help illustrate to people what the game is and why they would want to play it, especially when they’ve never played one of our games before. One thing we know we’ve never been that good at is selling our games to people who have never heard of us, and we’re really trying to change that.

We then have a sort of cheeky follow up question, but as it’s been so long since our last TQT we figured we could sneak in a second anyway. The questions is – can you please show this site to people you know have never heard of us and tell us what they think?

I like it, though if you really want to attract new players give an example of the game play so they can “see” what the game is like. A short video would do the trick

Love the site! You guys are very clever. I’m eagerly anticipating the release of this game. In fact, every time I get an update from you, I think it is the actual game release! Thank you for giving a more specific time of release so I can stop being disappointed,,😳😜

Hi Graham – it took a while to load (maybe due to my broadband speed?) but once it did it was well worth the wait for the screenshots. Very looking forward to your next masterpiece.

Wonderful site! Gets a player excited about the game.

Question, it may be hard to say without spoilers but what is the biggest disagreement you 2 have had in regards to an adventure’s story or gameplay?

Looks good Graham! I think you guys did a pretty good job of explaining what the game is. I also agree about a short game play video. Other than that well done!

The site is well done but problably time consuming.Announcing a game in november and nothing 4 month later is it really usefull ?

  We announced the game in November with this post – https://www.glitchgames.co.uk/announcing-veritas-the-latest-adventure-game-from-the-creators-of-forever-lost/ – but then a few weeks later we talked about the updated camera, which showed some Veritas stuff – https://www.glitchgames.co.uk/introducing-the-new-and-shiny-glitch-camera/ – we then posted an update on the game in January – https://www.glitchgames.co.uk/veritas-update/ – and then the very post you’re commenting on was only written one month ago?
  
  Granted you’re right we do need to talk about it more, but it’s certainly not been four months without any updates.
