Awesome conclusion to the series, thank you so much.
Just spent all day playing through to the end.
You can now take a short holiday before moving to the next title . . .

Strange. When a freeze type issue occurs the best thing to do is to close the game fully from the multitasking bar and then load it back up again. All progress will have been saved.

Finally! Me and my best gamer-friend has been waiting exitedly for this for a long, half year now. Sadly, she’s on vacation now, and I promised to wait downloading it till she was back home, so we could download it together. I’ve played your other 2 games though a few times now, and they are absolutely amazing! Now, I must wait even more exited than ever till she’s home, so I can play the 3rd and (sadly) last episode.

I have already started the game twice hoping that I could find the token somewhere but no… I can’t leave the Ferris game either. Please tell me how to finish this game????

I finshed the game but I now have more questions about the story. I don’t want to post it here and spoil the ending of the game but I have a few questions that if what I am thinking about the story is true then it has suprise ending I wasn’t expecting. Now thinking back over the other games though they support what I think is what really is going on in the story. Wish there was a way I could ask you guys without spoiling it for others.

Absolutely loved FL3! Have played all three in the series and this one is definitely the best. Superb work. I only have one nit picky correction. The knee X-Ray is upside down. Other than that, absolutely flawless!

Really glad you like it! And oops in regards to the knee x-ray but if that’s your only issue with the game then I’ll take that as a good thing 🙂

Jul 14, 2015 -
After finishing the game, I can only say: you HAD to play Silent Hill 2 (that’s for sure), and you HAD to watch The Shutter Island movie. I just have the same feeling of emptiness after finishing your game. If you haven’t seen Shutter Island then you should watch it. If you were inspired by Silent Hill, that’s great. And of course Matrix the Movie is here, no doubts ;). Can you tell me what were your real inspirations for this game? Am I right here? It was a great experience guys!
Graham
Jul 16, 2015 -
We’ve actually never played Silent Hill 2, we should probably go back and rectify that mistake. We are however massive fans of Shutter Island 🙂
I don’t think we ever had 1 single inspiration for the story, just a combination of lots of things ( not just movies and games ) and then just the desire to tell this kind of story.
Raf
Jul 18, 2015 -
Oh, you should play SH2 Graham! Apart from different mechanics and heavier atmosphere of the game, it has a lot in common with FL, I can’t tell you what though 😉 But I’m sure you won’t regret playing this 🙂
And I’m glad you guys love Shutter Island, sometimes you need to watch or play something that make you speechless.
Maybe one day we could even play Shutter Island the Game, who knows? 🙂
Graham
Jul 20, 2015 -
It’s now added to my massive to-play list 🙂
A Shutter Island game or a Forever Lost movie, either would make for an interesting day 🙂
Raf
Jul 21, 2015 -
Damn, you’re right. How could I miss the Forever Lost movie idea?!! This is a great material for a movie! Basically I can already see how it could look like, camera angles and overall style. We would just need an enhanced screenplay written by you. And original game’s soundtrack which is out of this world. Mission accepted, I just need couple of millions pounds to do this 😉
Imagination – that’s what makes life a little bit more colorful 😉
Raf
Jul 14, 2015 -
I finished the game, using hints (x2) for the first time in the series. Great work, I believe you’ve played Silent Hill 2 before, and watched Shutter Island film, cause after finishing the game I had exactly the same feelings as after the two masterpiece titles above. It was an unforgetable story, I’m sad it’s finished 🙁

Graham
Jul 20, 2015 -
Really glad you liked the games! The ending was intentionally ambiguous 🙂
Raf
Jul 21, 2015 -
The ending is perfect, it adds depth to the game. I would be little dissapointed if Jason and Alice just met at the end kissing each other, with Jason saying: “I thought you were dead Alice”, and Alice saying: “I just faked my death to go with another guy. I’m sorry, I really love you, Jason” that would be too Hollywoody 😉
Graham
Jul 24, 2015 -
Haha yea we really didn’t want to make a hollywood type ending. The ending in the game is what we wanted right from the beginning.
Lethe
Jul 22, 2015 -
Great game! Actually I’ve played all the series including the Forever Lost 1-3 and Alice’s Cabin. I would say that the puzzles are great but in terms of the story… Sigh, don’t you think there’re tons of details and mysteries not clearly answered?
Who’s the voice Jason heard at the end of the game (not the tape, but the two guys before Jason fainted)?
What’s the meaning of Hide Body in the note book?
Why paint Welcome back (home?) Jason at Hugo’s house?
Why the time point 3:24 mentioned so many times during the game?
….
Actually I could list more than 20 key problems unsolved even after I go through the whole story.
Will you have a sequel or an expansion pack to tease out the REAL TRUTH of the story?
Graham
Jul 24, 2015 -
Hey Lethe, really glad you liked the games and the puzzles!
In regards to leaving things unanswered, yes we did leave lots of details not fully answered and that was the point. We always wanted it to be ambiguous and leave lots of lingering questions so players could answer them how they thought worked.
We ourselves know the answers to these questions however we intentionally wanted to leave the ending open to interpretation.
Lethe
Jul 23, 2015 -
Well, the comments I made upside doesn’t mean that I’m criticizing the game. ABSOLUTELY NOT! Actually I’m a super-fan of the FL series. I just want to know the real truth of the story. So If you have any plan to make an expansion pack or even to write a novel, I will be glad to buy it. I mean it! Seriously!
And the last but not least, I want to thank Glitch Game to make so many wonderful escaping games. I’m looking forward to your new games published in the future.
Graham
Jul 24, 2015 -
Ohh a novel could be really cool 🙂
We’ll keep making adventure games as long as people keep buying them 🙂

Jul 25, 2015 -
Just finished FL3 – very, very nice work guys! I really loved the atmosphere and depth. As many others have said, the ending is fascinating and frustrating at the same time. So many questions! I’d love to see the answers you have internally regarding Jason, Hugo, and Alice….I also think this would make an excellent graphic novel story. (I’d buy that, loved the graphics in the game)…Thank you for FL 1,2,3. I enjoyed them very much! Looking forward to Metus and The Lake.
Graham
Jul 29, 2015 -
We were hoping to make the ending ambiguous and let people theorise about what actually happened, so I think it’s safe to say we managed that 🙂
Maybe one day we’ll release our own interpretation of the story, however I can’t guarantee that as we really like the ambiguous nature of it currently.
A graphic novel could be really cool yea!

Just curious if you know why it is not available on the LG G4 from the google play store?
Graham
Sep 23, 2015 -
There have been reports of games not working on LG devices, it seems to be only LG devices and must be caused by something LG have done their end. We’re still looking into it but thought the best thing to do first is to stop selling the games to those devices to make sure people aren’t paying for things that won’t work on their device.

Sep 21, 2015 -
Amazing series. It reminds me of Myst, but modern. After playing Alice’s Room, I bought all three of the full games. It’s like a drug or something. I’ve completed them all, but I NEED more! If Glitch can make four or five more like this, I’d buy them all at once, and gladly pay ten US dollars per game. You guys could pump these out every three months and make a fortune.
Graham
Sep 23, 2015 -
Hey Bill, really glad you liked the games! And thank you for putting them up there with Myst, that’s amazing!
In regards to pumping these out, the first two episodes took 8 months each and the 3rd episode took much longer. We’re not really intending to pump these out as we really want to make sure they are good games, not quick rush jobs. Also, the Forever Lost story has now come to a close.
We will, and are, working on other adventure games though which hopefully will be just as popular.
I think you may be overestimating the amount of money we’re making, we’re by no means making a fortune, but that’s fine as we didn’t get into this business to get rich, if we wanted to do that we’d work in any other software industry.
It’s awesome that you would happily pay quite a bit more than we’re selling these for, however not many people feel that way.
Mike
Oct 2, 2015 -
This series is without a doubt one of the most ingenious I’ve ever played, and I second the claim that it’s easily at or above ‘Myst-level’. Every puzzle is well-crafted, and while some of them can be pretty challenging, each time one is resolved I’m left telling myself “well of course that’s how you solve it, dummy”. Which is to say that I can see there is never a grasping-at-straws to try to make the plot or a sequence of events come together. Or if there is, it’s really well-hidden.
Not only is there a great deal of creativity and continuity throughout each individual episode and the series as a whole, but the artwork has been fantastic time and time again. A lot of apps come and go on my iPad, but I will always keep this one around to play again. Definitely best in the dark with a pair of headphones after the wife has gone to sleep for the night.
Thank you for all the work you put into this. Very few others are at this level.

Hi there, the game is overall very well done and am enjoying it a lot! However I am having an issue in the mueller video game. I got to the point where I gave the man the ID card to get the telegram, and was told to meet Hugo at the bar. Except when I proceeded it took me to the previous screen of the lobby and am now stuck in that area as I no longer have the ID card. Any suggestions.

Hi
First off – Great game. I actually love all of your games 👍.
But I have a problem. I am stuck, and have been for a while. I am missing the last puzzle-piece to unluck the sword in the kids room. I have searched everywhere and solved every other puzzle I have encountered, and I and left with a sneaking suspicion that the last puzzle piece is in the Ferris Mueller game, but I can’t re-enter the game. When I try go there, the game just takes me to the empty slot in the bottom of the machine.
Help me!

Great game! One of the most entertaining escape games Ive ever played and I thought the story and ending were great as well. Price is very reasonable and unbeatable value for money given the amount of entertainment it provided. Can’t wait for your next adventure game series (I hope you plan to make the next one a series as well) and wondering when we can expect it (any chance before 2017?). Have already recommended this to several friends and am sure they’ll love it as well.

Hi, I just want to say thank you so much for your awesome series. It’s the best adventure game I have played in a very very long time, I loved the mood, the beautiful story, the music, the fact that so much was left “unanswered”, all of it. And also the many references (arrested development& joy division!) made me smile and made your game unique, and also the in-game references that reminded me of the monkey island series a little bit even though it probably sounds far fetched 🙂
Brilliant. Also I appreciated that the puzzles felt so much more connected and relevant for the storytelling then what’s usually the case in similar games with a lot of puzzle solving. They never felt arbitrary.
Played through all 3 parts while home with a fever which felt appropriate for the story somehow!
Also it’s so nice to read through this comment section to find such humble and genuine response from you to all fans of the game.
Good luck & best wishes from Sweden!
Graham
Feb 12, 2016 -
Hey Susy! And we want to say thank you for playing the series 🙂
So very happy to see that you liked the series so much, even our silly references 🙂 And very honoured to have Monkey Island mentioned in relation to our series, I grew up on those games and they are one of the reasons I wanted to make games in the first place 🙂
We really tried to make sure that the puzzles weren’t a side thing to the story and instead were fully a part of it, glad to hear that we may have succeeded with that!
If someone takes the time to comment it’s only right that we take the time to respond, you are all literally the reason we’re able to make these games 🙂

My girlfriend and I just finished playing through this series together. It was a truly amazing experience! Every puzzle made sense, no matter how frustrating we initially found it. The whole series is definitely up there with my favorite game, King’s Quest VI. Absolutely incredible job!
I have a ton of questions that I’d rather not post here (to keep things spoiler free) and I’m sure after another play through I’ll have even more. For now could you answer just one thing?
My girlfriend was wondering, is there any reason Hugo was 400 lbs? It made us laugh a good number of times.
Thank you so much for pouring your energy into what turned out to be a very addicting and intriguing gaming experience! Loved every bit of it!
Graham
Feb 18, 2016 -
Hey Tim! Thanks to both of you for playing the game and so glad to hear you both enjoyed it so much!
Please email in any questions you want – graham@glitchgames.co.uk – and I’ll answer whichever ones we can ( we still want to keep some things ambiguous )
As far as I can recall the main reason Hugo has his weight described as 400 is down to Alice and Jason’s love of pop culture, and in this case, Lost.

Hi there
I’ve played Episodes 1 and 2 without any problem but am now having issues with the Ferris Mueller arcade game in Episode 3. When I speak to Alice a large black box comes up, all of the menu buttons disappear (except hints and home) and the game becomes inactive unless I come out – I can’t seem to do anything in there. I’ve even tried reinstalling the game but nothing works 🙁
I’m playing on a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.

Hey Graham, I am having the same problem – can’t get away from speaking to Alice (See Gemma’s post prior) . Your solution was to go to the SAVE GAME screen. However, I do not have a SAVE GAME screen. If I hit the HOME icon it takes me to a screen that gives me these options: Resume, Options, and OTHER GAMES. Options has: LOAD GAME, TEXT, AUDIO, CAMERA, CREDITS. If it go to LOAD GAME it takes me to 8 screens, all but one are empty. The one showing a scene is my game I’ve just come out of. But when I click on that it just goes back to the game where I am stuck speaking to Alice. What can I do to get out. I have restarted the game twice already and want to move forward. Thanks

Despite the moody atmosphere, I thought the games were very witty. The “Nothing else mattress” mat with the caption “I don’t get it” still makes me snigger.
I haven’t played a game in years, I’m comfortably old enough to know better, and I don’t know what made me pick this one up. But once I started playing, I got drawn into the games and had to finish them. So there it is. Just fan mail.
Ps I enjoyed seeing the names of well-known psychiatrists in the Hawthorne Institution!

Hey Benn! Thanks! One of the things we tried to do with them was to make them a nice mix of both dark and a little funny so glad that came through!
Haha, that bit still gets us too!

First of all I’d like to congratulate all of you, I downloaded the cabin three days ago and loved it so much I downloaded and finished all 3 games in a couple days! Hugely addictive! Wonderfully well made.
I decided to take the red pill in the end, simply because I felt that this had to end for him, show some humility. But I couldn’t resist the urge to look for the blue pill ending on YouTube. I think the only difference is there is no ‘where am I’ at the end with the red pill. So he passes out with both but he wakes up to start all over again with the blue. But this whole thing has been Alice’s and Hugo’s experiment then?

Hi Irie,
Really glad you liked the games! It’s great to know people are still finding them and enjoying them 🙂
As for the ending, that certainly seems the case 😉

Hi, similar to Gemma, I’ve had trouble with the Ferris Mueller game. A big black box came up when I tried talking to Alice and I couldn’t click on anything. I shut down the game, restarted it, tried restarting my iPad but no luck. I get the white ‘Glitch Games’ screen and then it shuts down. I can see that one of the open windows is the ‘Hints’ page, but that’s inactive too.

Hi Graham and Simon – sorry I’m late to the party – I bought the 3rd right away but it sat on my phone a while until I had time. I have just finished and am so impressed. I hope you are making enough money to continue making these awesome games.

Just wanted to say thanks for the awesome forever lost series. Big fan of point and click and have been for many years – these were absolutely awesome. Got through all 3 whilst away for a week – glad I found them. Really enjoyed the story, the puzzles, the hint system (I may have needed it more than once ;)) and the overall high quality. Will certainly pick up the rest of your games. Keep doing what you are doing gents!

What’s the combination for the door that you need the glitch soap?

Hey. I just finished the game for the first time in a while, and I don’t remember the red pill ending being quite the same. Did you sneaks add something to hint at a new game??? 🤨🤨🤨🧐

Nope, we haven’t changed the ending. The two endings are very slightly different to each other but they’ve always been like that.

I am completely stuck! I had a glitch token and tried using it on the Ferris Mueller game but the game didnt start and my token has disappeared from my list. Suggestions? Do I need to go get another token?

I have recently purchased and downloaded the 3rd installment of the Forever Lost series. However far into my gameplay I opened up the app and received this error message ‘runtime error bad argument #1’. I had to completely uninstall the game and when I reinstalled it, I had to start ALL OVER! I’m very upset! If there’s anything you guys can do from your end please let me know because this is ridiculous! Especially since there’s slots available to save your progress but they have no purpose if you need to uninstall the app!

Hi,
I have a problem with the lever puzzle. Lever 3 is stuck with lever 1 in the far right lever room and there’s nothing I can do to get it to reopen so I can’t complete the puzzle
Help?

I’m very much enjoying this so far, but I just made the map and now I can’t use it. It’s in my inventory, but clicking on it does nothing. I tried following other maps from walkthroughs online, but the cave still won’t open. (I’m on mac) What should I do?

Sorry about this, looking into it right now!
Until the fix is out the best thing to do is have a look at the map in the walkthrough online and then follow the map as if you have it open.

Love Episodes 1 and 2 and had no issues with them. Just trying to play Episode three and I can’t get past the first room because I don’t seem to have a “back” button. I have the inventory bar, but nothing else. I’ve tried playing with resolutions for my screens, but it doesn’t seem to be working. I’m using an iMac with Catalina.

Sorry about this!
An update went in that allowed you to right-click to go back, but the actual back button should now also be visible in a later update.
