I’ve heard it on good authority ( my wife, worryingly enough ) that in lots of relationships there is a point where everything breaks down after 7 years, and coincidentally Simon and I have just realised that Glitch has now been going for 7 years.

Luckily enough, Glitch is still going strong.

We’re super proud of what we’ve managed to achieve in that time, not least of which being that we’ve stayed in business all this time, never having to do contract work and working purely on our own IP.

We started Glitch with the vague idea of a top-down pirate game and the strong desire to not get a real job. To date we’ve never made a pirate game, much to my confusion, but have managed to fulfil the second part.

Working at Glitch has never felt like a real job, or even really a job at all.

So thank you to anyone reading this, you’re the reason we’ve managed to keep making the games we love!

Here’s to another 7 years!
