@lkmad 8 even. I can't even remember how many games we have now.
They're out! Forever Lost, Another Tomorrow, Incoherence, and Station 117 are all now available on the Nintendo Switch - nintendo.co.uk/Games/Nintendo… #indiegames #puzzle #escapegames
@lkmad Thanks! First of 12 so by the end I'm sure we'll know what we're doing.
We are Glitch Games, where glitches are only part of the story.
We believe that some of the greatest things around were created by accident, just look at sticky notes and the slinky. So at Glitch we embrace – no encourage – accidents, glitches and bugs of all nature, we then turn the best of these into features.

First time i’m a bit disapppointed (even it’s relative, no panic !).
Except two or three puzzles, i find it pretty simple and especially too, too short… and maybe that’s because i know well all your games, but i find there is many recycling of old puzzles. And not so fan of new inventory : the old is more simple, efficient, intuitive… the new is really heavy and hide the screen.
BUT, my opinion is relative to your old games, I mean this game is always far better that it can exist of puzzle game adventure in the cloud
( I really appreciate : atmosphere, esthetic, line-story, kind of humour, etc. )

Hi Louis, sorry to hear you’re disappointed. We had intended this game to be a shorter one as otherwise we would never have released it.

It was shorter yea, it’s hard to get the length right for everyone. Glad you liked it though!

I just downloaded it. It’s beautifully creepy! And tough to puzzle through, right from the get go on the locked suitcase!
FYI. On my iOS version, there’s a small bug on the crooked painting in the bedroom. When you try to do a two-finger pinch zoom, the text for what is under the painting appears before it should in the storyline.
Anyway, great game so far. Now… when is Solus coming out? Haha!

Does the ending indicate that a sequel is
In the works? Or does it indicate that the fate of the kid is the object in the last room…?

It was always meant to be a single game with an abrupt ending.

Hi guys,
I am your absolute fan!!!!!! I have really not words to express my feeling about how perfect is the <> and the others of course.’!!! I love the graphics, the puzzles, the mystery atmosphere, the fabulous music which speaks to my soul in every game!!! Do u you know that every time I finished a game I felt melancholy because I would not listen that music and sink into that mystery adventure!!! U guys know that u are amazing artists aren’t u??
I would also express my opinion about yr last game!! I found it whole excellent as always, but I would prefer the duration of the game going longer, I finished it almost in a day and I ve been waiting for the game so long time!!! also I found the pazzles easy!!! I would prefer the first inventory suitcase because was more simple than the new one. Unless I am wrong I am able to understand that u work hard to give a good result to us and all this may be anxious. I am sure that u know that we are impatient to play your marvelous game and u give your best shot for this!!! Wish there were many games like yours!! I am waiting impatiently for the new one!!
Thank u for reading my comment!! I fanatically support u guys keep going like this!!

Hi Roula,
Thank you so much for writing in, we seriously love hearing from players, especially ones that are so happy with our games 🙂
The music is one of my favourite parts of our games, Richard is truly awesome and knocks it out of the park each time. One of the best things about getting close to us finishing work on a game is that the music starts coming in then so we get to hear it for the first time.
Forgotten Room was indeed a shorter game than the FL games, we’re trying to find a happy middle ground in regards to game length as the longer they are to play the longer they are to make, and the more time we spend making the game means less time selling it, and sadly we need to sell them to stay in business. We’ll keep trying to get a good mix though.
Hopefully we will have more to say on our next games soon 🙂

Guys,
Your games are excellent. Please keep them coming! I have just started to dabble
In coding so I can appreciate how much effort you both have put into these projects.
BTW, can you tell me what software you use (engine, graphics, etc..).
Thanks again for making such awesome games!

Hi Scott,
Thank you!
We use the Corona SDK from Corona Labs – https://coronalabs.com/ – it uses Lua as its programming/scripting languages.

Loved it! Especially the ending. Great creepy atmosphere, good puzzles, nice storyline.
I only wish it were longer. PLEASE give us a nice LOOONG game soon. And keep ’em creepy. A Short Tale was less interesting because it wasn’t scary.
And I agree with the previous poster about the clunky inventory that covered the whole screen. Not an improvement over Forever Lost.
Keep up the great work, guys!

Really glad you liked the game! The problem with long games is they take a very long time to make, and this is a very risky business. It can be tricky to work on a game for 10 months only for it to not sell well enough, we’re just two people and need to be able to pay bills etc.
We’re trying to find a happy middle ground 🙂

Forgive me for asking, but why have multiple projects going instead of focusing on getting one out sooner? Are there steps that have to wait, and you fill time with other projects?
I know you have the bunker and Linus AE going. Any other ones to look forward to?

I guess the main reason is because Glitch is comprised of two people who are very excited about making these games but apparently get easily distracted by shiny things 🙂
There are so many games we want to make and stories we want to tell that sometimes we get a bit ahead of ourselves.
We are trying to get better at this though 🙂

Well done again guys! A creepy, short and engaging tale! Wish it was longer! What was that ticking sound?? We’re we ever meant to find out? It’s really bugging me!
Really looking forward to a longer game to get my teeth stuck into!

Really glad you liked the game!
The ticking sound was from the clock in the reception, however sometimes it bugs and plays in other places. Er, ghosts did it 🙂

Finished the game. (Really enjoyed the puzzles.) Am I correct to think I am now dead?

At the very least you’re trapped in a room that people keep forgetting about 😉

I really liked Forgotten room- not the love I felt for Forever Lost, but still a great game with a great ending. (Though I’m still curious which of the 2 mentioned characters was causing the chaos…)
The worst part? I saved the download for the day before a cruise (1st week of Nov). Halfway to the Bahamas, and I got stuck in attic, without quite understanding the pin puzzle (I understood the clues but wasn’t tapping the doll just right).
I have never hated a week without internet so much in my life! Some people are crowded around the one building that has wifi, uploading photos to Facebook. I’m praying the appunwrapper site can load before going back to the boat.

Really glad you liked the game! Sorry to hear that you got stuck in the attic, hopefully you still managed to enjoy your cruise though!?!

Oh yes, the cruise was great, and once I got out of the attic I loved the rest of the game. Perfect mix of a mystery, creepy, suspenseful.

Great to hear it! But now I want to make a game set on a cruise liner, if only so we have to do some on-location research 🙂

Hey graham, I’m writing this to share my opinion on forgotten room, In my opinion, the forgotten room was fantastic, the puzzles were great and they stumped me ( you guys come up with very clever puzzles! ) I do agree with the others that the ending was abrupt and leaves you with questions, but I know you guys love ambiguous endings, ( like in FL 3) so I respect your choice 🙂

I hate this game. I’m stuck after the first puzzle and the clue is for the one puzzle I’ve already solved. Even following the walkthrough I can’t get the pi puzzle to work. I had to restart it because it took the scissors before I realized I needed the brain. It’s poor game design. I thought I was cheating by consulting the walkthrough. It turned out the game simply didn’t work. The game would be fine if the holdup was simply that I couldn’t figure it out. I’ll go back to the one Rusty Lake game that had the same problem and see if that one is fixed. I’m done with this game.

Sorry I can’t remember which puzzle this is? Are you talking about a game by Rusty Lake? As that’s not us.
The Forgotten Room doesn’t even have scissors in it?
